The NYPD is beefing up the police presence in Central Park in the wake of a two-week string of violence, police sources said yesterday.

Patrols were added a day after three men were held up at gunpoint at 12:30 a.m. near 102nd Street and the East Drive.

No arrests were made in that stick-up.

But cops later took Ramelle Moore, 20, into custody in the area — and charged him in connection with an Oct. 11 robbery in Central Park, police said.

Sunday’s attack and two others were a reminder of the caution with which New Yorkers once treated Central Park after dark.

On Nov. 2, at 7:20 p.m., near East Drive and the Great Lawn, a 62-year-old Upper West Side man was approached from behind by two robbers, one armed with a gun, who took his BlackBerry, wallet, $100 cash, Visa card and driver’s license, cops said.

On Oct. 29, at 4:10 p.m., on a foot path near 97th Street and the West Drive, a 21-year-old Upper West Side man was put in a chokehold by one attacker while another struck him on his forehead, cops said. The perps fled without taking anything.
