Prosecutors dismissed charges today against a careless Harlem father who dropped his infant son and then failed to take him to the doctor for several days — causing him permanent blindness.

Recco Dudley, 26, a rapper and DJ, dropped his baby boy Royalty as he reached for a towel after taking him out of a bath — but didn’t seek medical treatment for three days, prosecutors said.

The six-week-old suffered serious injuries from the tumble, including a fractured skull, fractured ribs and bleeding in the brain.

Manhattan prosecutors opted not to press the case against Dudley because of a lack of evidence.

He was initially charged with endangering the welfare of a child and reckless endangerment.
