A troubled nonprofit that fleeced college students with overpriced Internet, phone and cable service agreed to fork over $5.5 million in a settlement with state Attorney General Eric Schneiderman.

George Scott, who founded Educational Housing Service to supposedly help students with off-campus housing, and his wife, Yun Suk Scott, agreed to pay back $2.5 million personally.

They’ll also cancel $2 million more they were expected to be paid by Student Service Inc., the for-profit company they created to contract with their charity — and which allegedly paid for their lavish lifestyle. The other $1 million will be paid by the charity’s directors.
