Educators in the city’s unionized charter schools are claiming that the UFT is hanging them out to dry when it comes to charter-school funding.

Not only does the United Federation of Teachers not support equitable funding for charter schools, they argue, but it has actively promoted freezing funding.

UFT officials said they haven’t taken a position on a funding freeze yet this year.
