Two sanitation workers hauling trash from Brooklyn Tech HS yesterday were injured when a chemical sprayed out of a garbage bag they were crushing, authorities said.
Valentino Davis, 46, and Nigel Evelyn, 53, were loading trash on Fort Greene Place at about 10 a.m. when the caustic substance squirted out, said a Department of Sanitation spokesman.
Davis was hit with the unidentified chemical, and Evelyn inhaled fumes, sources said. Both walked to nearby Brooklyn Hospital, where they were treated and released.
