A girl walking to school was able to escape the grasp of a man trying to abduct her in a Brownsville park Tuesday morning, cops said.

The 10-year-old girl was in Betsy Head Park at approximately 7:30 a.m. when an unknown man approached her from behind and complimented her hair and backpack before attempting to grab her, cops added.

The girl was able to escape and flee while the pervert ran off toward Amboy Street.

No arrests have been made and the suspect is described as having dreadlocks.
