Keep your scarf and umbrella handy — dreary, soggy, winter-like weather will continue until Tuesday, with temperatures plunging to 20 degrees below normal.
Today’s high is forecast to be 49 degrees — but with 15- to 20-mph wind gusts, it will feel more like 37 during the day and in the low 20s at night.
“This is a wintertime pattern,” said AccuWeather meteorologist Tom Kines.
Adding to our weather woes is the nor’easter that gathered strength off the mid-Atlantic coast yesterday and was expected to dump rain today all over New York City, New Jersey and Long Island.
