The two Chinatown women executed two weeks ago may have ripped off nearly $100,000 from Chinese thugs, law-enforcement sources believe.

Xiao L. Li, 70, and Yong Hua Chen, 36, were both found shot in the head in a Henry Street apartment.

Police sources believe the victims were part of a “key club” — a sort of underground banking system.

The “clubs’’ are pools, a source said. For example, 12 people could be in a pool where they each kick in $1,000 a month for a year. Each month, a different member gets the $12,000 jackpot.

One theory is the victims may have stolen the money from pools to which they had access.
