A Chinese dad is “unmoved” by criticism over video of his nearly-naked son running through freezing New York City, The Daily Mail reports.

The video, showing 4-year-old He Yide doing pushups in the snow and pleading for his father’s help, drew international outrage in the past week.

He Liesheng, 44, shot the video while vacationing in New York.

The man told The Daily Mail that he relishes the nickname ‘Eagle Dad’ — but that the extreme parenting approach has strained his marriage.

“His mother just wants him to be a normal boy, but I want him to be exceptional,” he said.

According to the report, the boy is already years ahead in his education — with his after-school hours filled with hill climbing, swimming, skiing, skating, chess and martial arts classes.
