Chinese take out!
Moo goo gay pan?
Here’s a new twist on the China doll yesterday as thousands of people marched down Fifth Avenue in the 42nd annual Gay Pride Parade.
Despite the traditional campy costumes — including a Brazilian sun god — marchers had reason for a serious celebration this year: the state’s OK of gay marriage.
“A year ago, I was walking with my fiancée,” said City Council Speaker Christine Quinn, who married Kim Catullo last month. “Today, I’m marching with my wife, my father and the mayor. It’s kind of beyond my wildest dreams.”
The crowd was five deep in places, waving rainbow flags.
Gov. Cuomo — who signed the Marriage Equality Act into law last year — and Mayor Bloomberg were among those who marched at the event.
