New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie said yesterday he opposes a proposal to restore New York City’s suburban-commuter tax, calling it “penny-wise and pound-foolish.”

Republican Christie also said he won’t delay the opening of a dispensary for medical marijuana in Montclair. It may open in as soon as three months, Christie told reporters.
