New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie might as well just stop beating around the bush and endorse Gov. Cuomo for re-election.
The New Jersey governor, who chairs the Republican Governors Association, was scheduled to appear with Cuomo at the July 20 Adirondack Challenge until a last-minute “family obligation” pulled him away, sources said.
But the next day, Christie helped Cuomo in another way by describing underdog GOP challenger Rob Astorino’s campaign as a “lost cause.”
Christie’s office declined to comment.
