Gov. Chris Christie’s top political strategist, Mike DuHaime, is the latest aide subpoenaed by New Jersey lawmakers probing Bridgegate.
Legislators investigating the politically motivated lane closures near the George Washington Bridge want to know more about DuHaime’s December meeting with David Wildstein, the Port Authority official who is widely considered to have orchestrated the lane closures.
DuHaime’s lawyer, Marc Mukasey, claimed the issuance of a subpoena reeked of politics.
