A church van carrying as many as eight people — adults and children — landed on its roof after it was T-boned by a car in Queens Friday night. The FDNY said two people were taken to Jamaica Hospital.

Neighbors said they saw the driver remove the license plates after hitting the van and then running off. A man who said he rented the car and it had been stolen when he walked out of it, later showed up at the scene – it was not clear if it was the same person.
