Citi Bikes may seem clunky to the average rider — but one daredevil recently used the bike share program to show off his BMX skills in Brooklyn, using the heavy blue bike for wheelies and grinds.

Animal New York asked Tyrone Williams, who owns a Williamsburg bike store called Dah Shop, to rent one and test its limits.

In the video, Williams started at the docking station on South 3rd Street and Bedford Avenue — but this was the only thing in his bike share experience that normal Citi Bike riders may relate to.

He quickly transformed the ride — balancing on the front and rear wheel, grinding on rails, and bunny-hopping in the street and in a skateboard park.

When he was done, he rode right into the docking station, and pressed the button with a wrench for servicing.
