A 23-year-old man cycling along the bike lane on the Queensboro Bridge Saturday night was seriously injured when he fell over a railing and landed next to a lane that carries cars and trucks over the span.

The Citibike rider was at the midpoint of the bridge on his way to Manhattan just before 8 p.m when he fell.

He was found unconscious and taken to New York Cornell Hospital.
