Pepsi, Coca-Cola and McDonald’s, facing City Hall-led bans on the size of their sweetened sodas, have turned up in the stock portfolios of Transportation Commissioner Janette Sadik-Khan, Finance Commissioner David Frankel and ex-Deputy Mayor Stephen Goldsmith.

Financial-disclosure reports released yesterday show that Sadik-Khan last year owned $5,000 to $44,000 in stock for each of the three companies, Frankel $44,000 to $60,000 in Pepsi and Goldsmith $5,000 to $44,000 in Coke.

Mayor Bloomberg proposed in June that New York City’s eating establishments not be permitted to serve sugary beverages in cups larger than 16 ounces. The industry has mounted a fierce counteroffensive.
