State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has reached a settlement with the city’s Health and Hospitals Corporation and Jacobi Medical Center to protect an employee’s right to practice his or her religion.

All medical facilities in the HHC network will now share a uniform policy on the review and granting of religious accommodation requests and must develop an internal complaint system.
