City seeking pier review
The city is looking to awaken two acres of sleepy waterfront property near Brooklyn’s cruise ship terminal with live shows, festivals, flea markets and other public events.
The Economic Development Corp. put out a request for proposals from event programmers to develop and operate the site in Red Hook, which is now being used as a parking lot for cruise ships docking along Pier 12.
