The city expects to spend at least $6.5 million by year’s end on legal fees dealing with the numerous federal and state investigations swirling around the de Blasio administration.

That represents a $1.1 million increase from what taxpayers shelled out through early October.

During an unrelated press conference Friday at NYPD headquarters, Mayor de Blasio blamed the rising tab on the investigations having “many elements.”

“We have been very, very cooperative, and as many times as the investigators want to talk to different members of the administration, they will have that opportunity, but each time it requires preparation and representation,” said de Blasio, who added he has yet to be interviewed by investigators.
