The city won’t provide a lawyer to an FDNY lieutenant being sued by one of his own men for calling the cops on him when he allegedly threatened to shoot up their firehouse.
Lt. David Hughes sounded the alarm when firefighter Raheem Hassan called him in December 2017 and warned he would “kill everyone in the firehouse,” according to court papers.
Hassan, a Muslim, is suing the city, Hughes and other members of Engine 309/Ladder 159 for discrimination and harassment.
