The city won’t cut funding to cultural institutions that don’t fill out a questionnaire on the ethnic and racial breakdowns of their boards and staff, Mayor de Blasio said Monday.

“No, no, no,” he insisted when asked if city funds would be blocked.

Cultural Affairs Commissioner Tom Finkelpearl notified cultural organizations on July 20 that they could apply for funding next year “as long as you complete the survey.”
