Don’t worry, Big Apple residents — the city’s heat wave should mercifully come to an end Wednesday, with temps expected to drop to a high of 74 to 80 degrees before falling into the comfortable 60s overnight.

In fact, rain and thunderstorms that were forecast for Tuesday night should make temperatures more bearable throughout the week, according to AccuWeather.

Experts projected that Thursday and Friday will be especially cool, with daytime highs ranging from the mid-60s to the low 70s.

Today will be mostly sunny, but cloudy in some areas.

New Yorkers should expect a wet end of the week, with a chance of showers and storms on Friday, before it turns cloudy on Saturday.

The comfortable weather follows a string of scorchers, as temperatures topped 90 degrees for three days straight.
