Two women charged in the CityTime fraud scandal said yesterday that they trust their defense lawyers, even though their fees are being paid by the accused mastermind of the alleged $80 million taxpayer rip-off.

Larisa Medzon, the mother of reputed ringleader Mark Mazer, and Anna Makovetskaya, one of Mazer’s cousins, told a judge that they were aware of the potential pitfalls in the arrangement.
