A Brooklyn Sanitation Department supervisor helped cops take out a different kind of trash.

Joseph Loughran, 40, helped chased ex-con Reynaldo Rivera, who allegedly stole a woman’s purse through Bushwick, while giving a 911 dispatcher updates on the thief’s location.

Police recovered the purse and Rivera was charged.
