After gaining a key court victory, Mayor Bloomberg yesterday blasted the teachers union and the NAACP for having challenged the city’s ability to shutter struggling schools and place charter schools in public buildings.

“Those that brought the suit should be ashamed,” he said.

Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Paul Feinman on Thursday dismissed a bid to keep the Department of Education from closing 22 schools and making room for 16 charters.
