The club that was the site of a bloody melee between Chris Brown’s and Drake’s entourages says it shouldn’t be blamed for the bottle-throwing brouhaha because it was an “unforeseen and unexpected incident.”

The WiP bar in SoHo couldn’t have been expected to know the hip-hoppers were feuding over a mutual former flame, the club contended in court filings. The club had no immediate comment.
