The 8-year-old sister of a boy who severely injured his leg when he fell off a Coney Island kiddie coaster said yesterday that she tried to save him from the near-tragedy.

“He was about to fall down so I held him,” said Aparajita Sutradhar. “I couldn’t hold him that long. And then he fell. I was super-scared.”

Her little brother, Vic Sutradhar, 5, fell off the Sea Serpent roller coaster at Deno’s Wonder Wheel Amusement Park on Wednesday night.

He was taken to Bellevue Hospital Center in Manhattan where he underwent surgery and was recovering last night.

“The doctor said everything is good,” Aparajita said. “After one or two weeks he’ll come home.”
