A missing Columbia University student who put her family in a panic after she vanished on May 5 has been found in Williamsburg — where she just randomly decided to start a new life, cops said.

Nayla Kidd, 19, an engineering student from Kentucky disappeared just before finals.

Fellow students plastered fliers featuring Kidd’s face all over campus, and her mom pleaded for anyone who might know where she was to come forward.

The mystery deepened Saturday when Kidd’s Facebook, credit cards and cellphone were all deactivated.

But police found her safe and sound at around 6:30 p.m. Monday at Seigel and Bogart streets in the Brooklyn neighborhood, where she had decided to rent an apartment and settle down without telling anyone, cops said.

“She wanted to start fresh,” said one police source.
