Bryan Steinhauer, the Brooklyn resident who as a Binghamton University student was beaten into a coma at an off-campus bar by a Serbian basketball player in 2008, is working as an accountant and preparing to run the New York City Marathon.

Steinhauer, 26, ran the New York City Half-Marathon last month.
