A Queens man has died after being punched outside a party for threatening to evict his girlfriend’s family from their shared home.

Ridgewood resident Hugo Moreta, 46, his girlfriend and several of her family members were celebrating a baby shower for one of her relatives at the home on Decatur Street early Sunday when Moreta said he would try to evict his in-laws once he was married, police said Friday.

When he went outside to start his car around 1:30 a.m., two guests from the party caught up to him and gave him a beat-down, cops said.

Moreta suffered internal injuries, including swelling of the brain, when he was punched in the face and hit his head falling to the concrete, police said.

He was transported to Elmhurst Hospital in critical condition, where he fell into a coma. He succumbed to his injuries Thursday, police said.
