Fraud isn’t funny for one Manhattan comedian who claims a fellow comic has been stalking him and ruining his rep online.

Sandip Buch, a psychiatrist by day who also does stand-up under the name Sandip Sen, says fellow funnyman Ari Teman has been on the warpath against him for months, stalking his shows, threatening comedy club owners to get him blackballed and sending his Facebook friends defamatory messages.

But Teman has taken things too far with the web site sandipbuch.com, which he set up in the last few months, Buch charges in a Manhattan Supreme Court lawsuit.

The site calls Buch a “quack doctor” and a “predator” who was sued by the state Attorney General’s office for his “key” role at Path Medical Group in Manhattan, which was run by a Dr. Eric Braverman who authorities accused of defrauding patients and misleading them about insurance coverage for expensive medical tests.

Teman himself sued Braverman, Buch and other doctors at Path Medical in 2014, claiming his sleep apnea was misdiagnosed as a psychiatric problem and that he was bilked for $30,000 in bogus tests. The case is ongoing.

But Buch said he was just a part time employee at Path, which was run by Dr. Eric Braverman and which settled with the AG’s office in 2014.

Teman’s no stranger to the courts: he was accused of wrongly demanding a commission on a real estate deal from a Manhattan public relations exec, who refused to pay because Teman has no real estate license. The exec later sued Teman for allegedly outing the exec as a two-timer.

The same year, Teman returned home to his Seventh Avenue condo to find the Airbnber he’d rented the space too was having an orgy. He later sued building management for allegedly badmouthing him over the incident.

“After enduring months of abuse Dr. Buch could no longer avoid legal action while Mr. Teman continued to escalate his malicious and baseless attacks,” Buch’s lawyer Adam Engel said.

Teman recounted his complaints against Buch and denied the allegations in the lawsuit.

“I’ll defend myself against this baseless lawsuit which is an attempt by a man buried in lawsuits to hide his dirty past.”
