The commanding officer of an embattled Brooklyn precinct is moving to a new position, The Post has learned.

Deputy Inspector Steven Mauriello, who led the 81st Precinct in Bedford-Stuyvesant, will take the reins at Transit Borough Bronx.

His precinct made headlines in February when an officer claimed that cops underreported crime to make their statistics look better.
