A watch dealer to the stars — whose sales have included Mahatma Gandhi’s pocket watch and a Longines once owned by Albert Einstein — is officially off the hook for misdemeanor charges of spying into his now-ex-wife’s computer.

Charges of unauthorized use of a computer were dropped in Manhattan today against Evan Zimmerman, CEO of Antiquorum, the world’s largest watch auction, as part of a pre-arranged deal with prosecutors.

Zimmermann, 43, had been accused of prying into the computer of his then wife, anesthesiologist Dr. Jennifer Zimmermann. His lawyer, Robert Wolf, called today’s dismissal of all charges “a well deserved vindication” after the “unwarranted prosecution instituted by his ex-wife.”

“They are now happily divorced, and there are no issues,” the lawyer said.
