The former Con Ed worker who went on a knife-wielding rampage in Manhattan in June told the arresting officer that he was trying to commit suicide by cop, according to newly released court papers.

Terry Trevial, 40, repeatedly stabbed his ex-gal pal on the Upper East Side June 22 then reported for work and attacked two of his co-workers with a knife and ax at the Con Ed office building on Irving Place.

“You were supposed to kill me,” he told the cops who arrested him, court documents show. “You were supposed to kill me. I took all that stuff so you could kill me. I took molly, weed, cocaine, and drank alcohol.”

Trevial, who has no priors, also attempted suicide in jail, according to prosecutors.

He was arraigned Thursday in Manhattan Supreme Court and pleaded not guilty to attempted murder, assault and other raps. Justice Michael Obus ordered him held without bail.
