One person was killed and four others injured in a shooting on the iconic Coney Island boardwalk just before midnight Saturday.
NYPD officials said a 42-year-old man was shot in the back after gunfire rang out at West 29th near the western end of the Riegelmann Boardwalk in Brooklyn. He was later pronounced dead.
The other four — two men, and two women — are expected to recover and were being treated at NY Langone Hospital in stable condition, according to officials.

It was unclear what led to the 11:57 p.m. shooting and no arrests had been made.
NYPD’s investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
