Workers aboard tug boats toiled through the day to right a construction barge sinking next to Steeplechase Pier on Coney Island yesterday.

The barge, which carries a big construction crane, is being used to fix damage caused to the pier by Hurricane Sandy.

The Coast Guard said the partial sinking was reported at about 1 a.m.
