WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. — A Connecticut man has been sentenced to more than seven years in prison for robbing a suburban New York bank.
Dennis Wilson, of Waterbury, Conn., previously pleaded guilty to robbing the Putnam County Savings Bank on Sept. 9, 2009.
Wilson admitted that he displayed a BB gun while robbing the Brewster, N.Y., bank of about $26,000.
U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara announced the sentencing on Friday.
