A 58-year-old construction worker died after falling off scaffolding while working on the outside of a Brooklyn building, officials said.

The man was working at a building on Nostrand Ave. near Linden Blvd when he lost his footing at about the third floor and fell to the ground around 1:30 p.m.

He suffered severe head trauma and later died at Kings County Hospital.

The incident is still under investigation and the man’s name has not been released pending family notification.
