Construction workers in Williamsburg hit a gas pipe Thursday morning, forcing people to evacuate two buildings, according to officials.

The call came in just before 8 a.m. for a gas leak near 236 Broadway, near the entrance to the Williamsburg Bridge, according to the FDNY.

Two buildings — 230 and 240 Broadway — were evacuated, fire officials said.

Workers on scene reported hearing a “hissing,” according to cops.

National Grid, the gas and electric company for the area, ruled the leak under control around 9 a.m., according to the FDNY.
