William FarringtonTwo people were injured at a construction site early Tuesday in Manhattan, officials said.
The victims — who are employed by TRM Contracting — were working in the lower level of the building at 210 Bowery when they were hurt around 8:45 a.m., officials and witnesses said.
They were rushed to Bellevue Hospital and are listed in stable condition.
It is not immediately clear what caused the injuries, but witnesses said they appeared to have been hurt while excavating the basement.
