The Constitution does not protect a Rikers inmate’s right to matzo and grape juice, a federal judge has ruled.
Christopher Henry had asked that matzo be served daily and grape juice every Friday. After being denied, he requested nearly $10 billion in damages for what he called a violation of his First Amendment rights.
Judge Shira Scheindlin shot down his bid.
