A sleazy senior citizen who works as banquet captain at the University Club on Fifth Avenue sexually harassed six waitresses — but might not have to pay a dime for his actions, under a Manhattan verdict yesterday.

A jury of four women and two men found that Melquisedec Guzman, 71, manhandled and harassed the victims, but said he and the club don’t have to shell out for compensatory damages.

Oddly, they did order Guzman to pay $75,000 in punitive damages — $12,500 to each plaintiff.

His lawyer, Daniel Hughes, said he’s confident “it will be set aside . . . They weren’t hurt, there were no injuries. You can’t have punitive damages if there were no injuries.”

The unusual verdict so surprised Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Jane Solomon, she sent the jurors back to reconsider, but they quickly came back in and affirmed their decision.
