A Long Island luxury-car dealer who was convicted of scamming $10 million from clients — including former New York Islander Mike Comrie — has been charged with another swindle, authorities said Tuesday.
Just three months before he was to begin a four-year prison term, Rick Cohen was charged last week with trying to sell a $21,500 Honda with forged paperwork, according to a criminal complaint.
Using the alias “Rick Ortiz,” Cohen met with a potential buyer for the car and flashed several documents to the suspicious man, who later contacted authorities, court papers say.
