Bloomberg Brew, anyone?

A bag of coffee bearing a picture of Mayor Bloomberg on its label turned up yesterday at the ribbon-cutting for the new Fairway market in Douglaston, Queens.

But the mayor isn’t about to go bean-to-bean with Starbucks.

Only a single bag of Bloomberg Brew was produced, and the mayor promptly brought it back to City Hall, where it was added to the substantial food larder in the bullpen for staffers to enjoy.

Mayoral spokesman Stu Loeser said aides know never to fetch a cup for the mayor that isn’t piping hot. “If it’s warm, don’t even bother giving it to him,” Loeser said.
