A veteran NYPD cop charged with torching three cars to collect at least $34,000 in insurance payouts — and accused of assaulting a woman he’d pulled over — was ordered held without bail Wednesday by a judge who called him a danger to the community.

Brooklyn federal court Judge Steven Gold ordered Carlos Becker detained as he slammed the 13-year highway cop as “arrogant” and dangerous for setting fire to the vehicles in residential neighborhoods in 2012 and last year.

“I think it takes a part of arrogance to engage in the behavior described in the complaint while working as a law-enforcement officer,” the judge said, as Becker shook his head.

The cop’s lawyer Colleen Brady, who’d argued to have him released with an ankle bracelet, declined to comment.

The woman sued Becker for allegedly beating her up after a date. He had pulled her over for DWI in 2013.
