A police officer was injured by a man who clocked him in the head and tackled him Wednesday night in Harlem, authorities said.

The officer suffered cuts to face when the man for undisclosed reasons pummeled him at about 11 p.m. at 144th Street and Lenox Avenue, cops said.

The officer’s injuries were described as minor.

The attacker was arrested and awaiting charges.
