Cop bike knockdown plea
A transit cop accused of knocking down a bicyclist with his patrol car in Downtown Brooklyn and then not reporting the incident yesterday pleaded not guilty to charges of reckless driving, assault and leaving the scene.
Louis Ramos, 42, had been driving with partner Paris Anderson, 33, on Jay Street at 3:55 p.m. on June 14 when he allegedly struck cyclist Yu Tong Chan. The officers stopped and helped brush off Chan.
While Chan filed a police report on the incident, Ramos never reported it himself, authorities said.
