A Brooklyn police sergeant broke his leg last night while trying to apprehend a drug suspect, NYPD sources said.

The cop, assigned to the 75th Precinct in East New York, was helping arrest the man in a bodega on Jamaica Avenue near Cleveland Street at 10:30 p.m. The suspect struggled with cops before being collared, and the sergeant fell down some steps. He was in stable condition at Jamaica Hospital.
