An NYPD police officer was arrested for pummeling a deliveryman who nearly hit his daughter with his electric bike, authorities said Wednesday.

Chon Huang, 32, told police he was walking with his daughter in the area of 60th Street and 10th Avenue in Borough Park around 6 p.m. Tuesday when the 49-year-old cyclist got too close and nearly struck the girl with his e-bike, police sources said.

Huang confront the man and they began arguing. The dispute escalated, at which point Huang punched the deliveryman in the face, the sources said.

The victim was taken to Maimonides Medical Center for his non-life-threatening facial injury.

Meanwhile, Haung, who works in the department’s Traffic Task Force and has been on the force for approximately three years, was arrested around 1 a.m. Wednesday and charged with assault.

He was issued a desk-appearance ticket and is due back in court at a later date.
